2013! :)

Yeah, the last post of this year. :-D Bye bye 2012! :-D :-D
Amazing year, wasn't it? So many memories it has left behind for us. Some sad ones and some happy ones and some very happy ones. :-P I have this habit, a silly one, most of you would relate easily to this. On the last day of every year, I sit and ponder over all those things which have made a significant mark in that year, also some insignificant ones too. You know, like rewind in a flash. And evaluate on certain parameters how the year has treated me and how I've treated certain things and people. Following that, I make some plans for the coming year. Say, I'll try to be a less talkative. Try. Like that is ever going to happen. I can never shut my mouth close. See the point is once I get started, it only hurts to stop talking. In school, I used to get this constant remark from my teachers that I am wayyy too talkative. Okay, wait. There I'm blabbering. :-P Lets get this straight. This is year has made me happy and at times happiest! :-D Not to forget, it is in this year I have learnt to value a tear drop. Crying without a reason is not going to do any good. All you'll get is a bad head ache and puffed eyes. Not so pretty, no. When you cry it is only to let the pain out of you. Moral of the lesson is, crying helps and don't forget to smile like nothing has happened the next minute. Yes, keep smiling always. Smiling is a good cure for head ache. I read that somewhere. :-) This year has also taught me how to stand stable in the times of failure. Not to be too happy about success. There is no such thing as forever. Believe it. It only satisfies you for some time. Whereas reality tells how to lead life in the face of adversity. Too philosophical? Blabbering. Again. But I do love fairy tales, those Disney stories. When reality troubles, you need a break, right?

Here's to 2013! :-) You better be worth it huh!
Lets hope that there is lot more happiness on the other side waiting for us, like a surprise gift to be opened. What if there is something that we wouldn't want? Well then, let it be. It will only get the better out of us. Make joy a habit. Include smiling in your to-do list. Give faith a chance and love more. Hate hatred. If something is not right and you are aware of it, take that little effort to correct the mistakes. Even if that means standing alone, stand for what you believe in is right. Wish that there won't be anymore female fetuses dying even before they are out of their mother's womb. Raise your voice against those who find pleasure in teasing young girls on roads. Kill the guts of those men who think raping a woman is heroic. Stop watching those ad films which showcase girls to be some kind of objects that sway to the smell of a random deodorant. Because it is horrifying to wake up to the news of a girl being raped brutally and dead. Because tomorrow I need to know that it is safe to walk on the streets of my city alone. Government of India, wake up! Punish those idiots severely now! Otherwise soon we would even see those days where people could say, "Law and order? What is that?". And please, no politics here. The most rotten part of this year was the state of Indian Politics. Best point is, ours is a democracy where it is not for the people or of the people or by the people but it is of the people's representatives and their families, for the personal benefits of the people's representatives and by the intelligent scams of the people's representatives. Whoever still thinks India is a great democratic country! It was. It will not be one until the principles of democracy are applied to the fullest. I forgot, God bless the black money hidden in banks. The next Independence/Republic Day I really want the P.M. to address the nation about its problems and the turmoil, but not the history of the great men, up to whose expectations we are miles far away from. Truth alone triumphs. At least try not to prove it a lie. A better country is all I want it to be in 2013.

When there is anger, everything seems hazy and blurred. Getting furious is not the solution.
Idea+Action=Change. We've got all of it. Change is on its way. :-)
I am a normal teenager, what can I possibly do? Thinking just won't help kid. Work for it. You can and will bring the change. Time for few resolutions no? I promise that I won't resolve to anything that I know I can  never keep. I won't let this one down, I'm sure. Adding to that list, read more, watch more movies. Travel a lot, learn quite a bit of good photography. Never, ever, ever stop writing. Listen to great music and try learning some. :-) Growing old doesn't mean that you give up on being the kid that you used to be. So, more fun and mischief. Be a better person, a better daughter most importantly. Continue talking! Make new friends, about 50 would do. :-P Love the ones who have stuck around with you handling me when I was a cranky monkey. Maybe, another hobby is welcomed and forgive quickly. Forgetting needs some time tough. Must do: Be a human being. Not let the planet in which I live die and not discriminate or be judgemental.  No, I don't want the Indian Cricket Team to lose anymore. And..... Leave the rest for some other time. One full year is left, I'll figure out the remaining sooner or later. Like they say, whatever happens, the show must go on. Listen to my version now. Whatever happens, let your life teach you things and the show will definitely go on.

Wish you a very happy and prosperous new year. :-D Yay! 2013!!
This was supposed to be the last post of 2012, can't help but call it the first one of 2013. :-D
