Gravity Vs. Love.
"What if I told you that love is stronger than gravity?", he said.
She simply smiled at him and looked away. "No, really. Now I know why I am so attracted to you", he sat beside her and took her hand into his, feeling her soft skin, he tightened his grip.
"You think we should let Sir Issac Newton know about it?", she mocked him. "I am sure as hell he already knew about it quite well, remember what he said, 'Gravitation is not responsible for people falling in love.'" "That was Albert Einstein, genius", she cannot be wrong he thought.
"But, you got my point, right?", he looked into her eyes, expectantly. "Which is trying to prove that you got bored studying that book on Astrophysics", she winked. "No, my point is to prove that my heart races like one of those Schumi's cars when I am around you and every single cell in my body inflates with happiness when I am thinking about you and probably I will always be at a loss of words when you are looking at me, like the way you are now." She tried but just could not take her eyes off him.
"Okay."
"Okay?", his face fell.
"Imagine a situation. We are standing on top of some random skyscraper and I push you down, leaving you to die on the ground. Is it still possible for your love to defy the laws of gravity?", she would not give in so easily.
And to that, without even stopping to think for a while, he said, "Fine. Newton wins! But yes, I do not know if love can ever be measured to compare and see if it wins over gravity. I do not know what exactly does love mean, to put it in perfect words to tell you how much you mean to me. I only know that if I am dying, the last time my heart beats, it would beat for you and I would use my last breath just to tell you that 'I love you'."
She couldn't remember when was the last time she felt so happy.
"Tell me, would you really push me off a building?"
