Photography, more than just a hobby.
This one goes for all those who love photography. When I was little kid I never understood how amazing a camera is. For me it always was a magic black box that gives out a lightening kind of effect when there’s a wide grin on your face and ta-da, there comes out your picture. Innocence, childhood. Then I grew up admiring the creative work of the people who portrayed the world through their third eye, the camera. The first one, whom I know very well is my mother. She managed to preserve all those amazing childhood memories of mine in the form of pictures. And I must say, she is very good at photography. See, I told you these cameras are magical. They can capture anything and everything. :D

Time moved faster, world has changed so much, also the technology improved. For instance, the good old Polaroid is replaced with the new age Digital cameras, the work on developing the long photo film has shifted its concentration to adding the final touches on Photoshop, lighting, focus, ISO settings, zoom length, macro photography, and what not! Interesting right? Every photo has a distinct tale behind it. A beautiful picture depicts many things apart from what’s on the surface. Deep inside, it has a soul, a life and a memory. That's what has captivated me. 19th August,2011. International Photography Day. That was when I thought why not click few pictures with my camera. As a result of my boredom, I started out taking pictures and yes, of course I loved it. Photography soon became my favorite hobby, now it is more than just a hobby for me. Haven't you heard of that saying, practice makes man perfect? I'm not really that perfect, on a scale of 1-10, I'm not even close to 5. But yes, practice is what helps. I kept clicking. Flowers, birds, puppies, babies, events, birthdays, marriages, festivals. Didn't leave anything behind. I loved it even more with every good picture that I clicked. Photography has brought about a few changes in my life. Everything has an angle now, blue skies seem to be good backgrounds, expressions have a unique meaning (even the craziest ones), nature has so many surprising things within, clicking pictures was never this fun. There is always something or the other I’d want to click. Even a dry twig seems interesting at times. :P When I meet a person who shares the same interest in photography as me, the only topic of conversation is photography. It's my new way of looking at things and people. When I'm stressed or my mind has got too many things to think about, I just pick up my camera and go about taking pictures. You can never run out of ideas when this whole wide world is your canvas. Visualizing things, perspective, creativity and a camera is all what you need. When it comes to camera and pictures I can never stop talking. Don't blame me, I already mentioned, photography is magical. :)
